Emily the primary facilitator for the Coaching Conversations program and works to create coaching workshops, revise and expand the coaching program, and contribute to other training materials and events. Bringing energy, intentionality, creativity and an equity mindset to her work, Emily is an educator and coach at heart. Her professional background includes teaching at the secondary and post-secondary levels, serving as an academic advisor in IU-Bloomington’s School of Education, and serving as the Associate Director for Professional Community Programs in Career Connections at IU-Bloomington’s School of Education. She also has facilitated professional development experiences for professionals in K-12 and higher education settings, and she has engaged people of all ages in mind-body practices to foster well-being.
Emily is excited to now have the opportunity to connect professionals at IU with the Coaching Conversations program and, in turn, support the academic and professional success of students on all IU campuses. We are excited to have Emily on our team, and we plan to offer a number of coaching events in the spring in person and online. These will be announced over the next few weeks. Emily brings a great deal of experience and expertise to this role, and we are excited for the new opportunities she will create with this program.
